About FARMiliarity.
We help people build food businesses from what their area already produces, and we stay with those businesses after they open.

Our vision.
To turn local food resources into sustainable local businesses, entrepreneurs and livelihoods.
Plenty of people have what it takes to run a business. What they lack is access to the right opportunity, infrastructure, technology, knowledge, market and support. FARMiliarity exists to put that in place.
How we think about it.
Don’t start with the loan. Start with the opportunity.
- Don’t just create projects. Create entrepreneurs.
- Don’t just install machinery. Build production systems.
- Don’t just make products. Build brands.
- Don’t just set up units. Build businesses that last.
- Don’t leave entrepreneurs alone after commissioning. Monitor, improve and support them.
- Don’t treat farmers only as raw-material suppliers. Where the numbers work, help them add value.
What we promise, and what we don’t.
We don’t promise a loan, and we don’t promise that every idea will succeed. Not every subsidy is a good business opportunity either.
What we do is help you answer the harder questions: what to make, why people will buy it, how to make it well, what it will cost and how to sell it. Then we help set up the systems to make those answers work.
How we earn.
FARMiliarity is a commercial business. We earn from the services we provide to the businesses we support, such as supplies, processing, training, audits, packaging, compliance help and marketing. So we do well when those businesses do well.

Working with the DRP approach.
Our work follows the District Food Enterprise Creator (DRP) idea: find the opportunity first, then the people to build businesses around it. We follow and work with the PMFME/DRP programme, and welcome partnerships with government programmes, District Resource Persons, banks, FPOs, SHGs, NGOs and CSR teams.
FARMiliarity Food Processing Parks is an independent initiative. It is not an official Government of Telangana DRP entity or a government-appointed DRP agency.
